Refinance Rates Move a Step Higher After Falling to 4-Month Low - Mar. 6, 2025

Rates on 30-year refinance loans shot up 8 basis points Wednesday to a 6.79% average, bringing an end to a notable decline over the previous two weeks. That's up from 6.71% the day before, which was the cheapest average since mid-October.
